The Huygens-Fokker Foundation’s radio features music excerpts that are both contemporary and historical. The focus is on performances with the unique 31-tone organ (Fokker organ), sometimes in combination with other instruments. This allows listeners to hear how microtones and alternative tunings truly sound, and what kind of music is possible beyond the boundaries of the traditional tonal system.
