Concert - October 14, 2012 | Ere Lievonen, Fokker organ

Concert | 2012-10-14, 11.00 hours | Small hall - Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Amsterdam

The clusters of Schat

Peter Schat composed his Collages for 31-tone organ in 1962 and made it one of the most outstanding works written for the unique Fokker organ. In the piece, Schat painted a, for his time, progressive palette of timbres. The other works on the program, among others Eugen Frischknecht, Ivan Wyschnegradsky and Jan van Dijk, are composed around the same time as the composition of Schat. Also, there is a composition with clusters of Juan Felipe Waller performed by Ere Lievonen on the Fokker organ and 96-tone Carrillo-piano.

Tickets can be reserved at the Muziekgebouw. The tickets include a drink after the concert in the new Zouthaven restaurant of the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ.
